About the Development Planning Framework
This page provides information on the generic competencies ie the knowledge, skills and behaviour, you are likely to need to be effective in delivering your current or future role. Four levels are described for each competency reflecting increased complexity, accountability or impact
There are three main competence groups described ie
All of these are underpinned by our organisational values, Caring Behaviours and the National Health & Social Care Standards.
The Framework allows you to consider each level of competency needed to support your PDP or Career Plan and reflects the relevant KSF dimension.
Turas also provides a Health and Social Care 360o profile you can use to gather information on how others’ experience your leadership.
Those working in integrated Health and Social Care Partnerships, may have access to HSCP and Local Authority Career and Development Planning frameworks and opportunities which should also be considered when formulating PDP options.
