Peer Immunisation

Vaccinate & help protect your colleagues against flu

In 2014, 74% of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde staff surveyed said they would be more likely to get the flu vaccine if it was available in their area/ward. The good news is staff can once again vaccinate their colleagues through peer immunisation.

There is support available for staff wishing to vaccinate their colleagues in their work area including:

  • A Step by step guide to organising and running a peer immunisation session.
Public Health will process vaccine orders and arrange delivery of vaccine to where you work.
  • Frequently Asked Questions.
  • Posters to advertise dates/times.
  • Training if required.

Staff wishing to run a peer immunisation session should contact Agata Janicka, Project Administrator by email: [email protected]

The Peer Immunisation Programme is run solely by Public Health and all enquiries regarding it should be directed to the Peer Immunisation team within Public Health.

Be a flu fighter, get your flu jab!

Protect yourself, your family, your patients and your colleagues.
