There are a range of resources and supports open to staff both within and outwith NHSGG&C - some of these are outlined below:

Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) are for people who are 16 or over and living in Scotland and are for individuals who will benefit most from this support. To check if you are eligible click on the link above.
NHSGG&C and University of West of Scotland Service Level Agreement (link directs to StaffNet, can only be opened on an NHS computer).
There is a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between NHSGG&G and university of the West of Scotland to help nurses and midwives in NHSGG&C access accredited programmes / modules at the University of the West of Scotland. Further information available by clicking on the link above.
NHS Education for Scotland offer a wide ranged education and training support for both clinical and non-clinical staff in Scotland. This can include some financial support. See the website for further details.
Core Skills training gives NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde staff the chance to brush up on core writing, reading, number and computing skills used every day. The service is free and confidential and staff can choose what to work on. Help is available one- to -one or in a group, or staff can be referred by their line manager.
