Course overview:

The course will train delegates how to determine the needs of an audience, improve training delivery, handle difficult situations in groups, use activities effectively, and much more.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Identify the characteristics of an exceptional trainer
  • Describe different individual learning styles and associated methods of learning
  • Write effective learning objectives
  • Use learning activities effectively
  • Discuss factors to consider when preparing for a training session
  • Point out the highlights and pitfalls of various visual aid options and classroom seating arrangements
  • Identify tools and techniques to maintain delegates interest
  • Discuss strategies for handling groups and associated difficult situations
  • Describe methods of evaluating training
  • Plan, design and deliver a training session
