LATEST NEWS    

Service Changes to First 15 and 16 - Service revisions come into effect on some First services from 23rd October resulting in a change to the above services. Both the 15 and 16 will operate revised timetables, although there will be no reduction in services during the day, however late journeys after approx 20:00 are being withdrawn. In addition to this, the 16 will alter its route slightly at Drumchapel, to operate in an anti-clockwise loop.

CQ1 Clydebank to QEUH (direct pilot service). As of 10th September 2016, West Dunbartonshire Council have withdrawn this service. There are a range of direct buses from Partick/Thornwood to the QEUH (15,16,17,77) and passengers can change here for connections to and from Clydebank. 

H2 Silverburn to QEUH (Colchri) - This service was withdrawn on Fri 22 July.

25 Silverburn to QEUH (Colchri) - A revised timetable is in place as of Thursday 18th August, proving a longer running service. 

26 Glasgow to Nethercraigs (via QEUH) (McGill's)- This service was rerouted as of 20th June 2016 and will no longer serve the hospital grounds. The nearest stops are located on Shieldhall Road, just to the South of the hospital site.

Bus Services to Arrivals Square

  • First Glasgow Hospital Connect services 15, 16, 34A and 77 directly serve the hospital. Service 90 services the grounds via Langlands Drive
  • Stagecoach service X19 (Fastlink)
  • McGills services 17, 21 and 23
  • Colchri service 25

By Rail or Subway

To Govan Road Entrance

  • Govan Subway Station: 
    A 25 minute walk to Govan Road entrance (just over 1 mile). Buses for hospital grounds are at street level bus stop, not the terminus. The X19, 21 and 23/23A connect Govan Subway to Arrivals Square and the 90 to the Hospital grounds on Langlands Drive.
  • Central Station (Union Street) (nearest buses):
    McGill's 23, 23A or Stagecoach X19. Alternatively take the St Enoch Subway to Govan and follow the above directions.
  • Queen Street Station:
    Stagecoach X19 or First 77 from Cathedral Street. Alternatively, take the Buchanan Street Subway to Govan and follow the above directions.
  • Cardonald Station:
    A 25 minute walk to Langlands Road entrance (just over 1 mile) or McGill's bus 17, First 34a, Colchri 25.
  • Paisley Gilmour Street Station:
    McGill's 17 or 21.
