Baby Changing Facilities
Baby changing facilities are provided and the centre is pleased to support the work of the Glasgow Breastfeeding Initiative. Nursing mothers are welcome to breastfeed and staff will be pleased to provide a quiet room for privacy if requested.
Cycle racks are provided adjacent to reception. The racks are covered by C.C.T.V. surveillance. Unattended cycles should be securely locked at all times. Shower facilities are available for visitors travelling to the centre by bicycle.
Drugs and Alcohol
The use of drugs and consumption of alcohol are strictly forbidden within the centre and admission to the centre will be refused to anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
First Aid/Emergency Evacuation
For your safety, a number of our staff are trained in first aid nd emergency evacuation.
For those with individual requirements, we have specific facilities and the centre staff will give every assistance should it be required. The car park has two spaces reserved for disability permit holders and entrance to the centre is via a low gradient ramp and automatic doors.
A passenger lift is available to enable wheelchair users and other less mobile visitors to access the first floor and a specially adapted toilet facility is also available.
For those with hearing difficulties, our main conference room is equipped with an induction loop system. Users should switch their hearing aid to the "T" position to make use of this facility. The pay phone receiver is fitted with an inductive coupler. Users of "behind the ear" hearing aids should switch their device to the "T" position and use the handset in the normal manner. Additionally, for visitors with hearing difficulties, portable fire/evacuation alerters are available from reception.
We welcome guide dogs and puppies in training to the centre.
Smoking is not permitted within the centre or car park.
