Royal Alexandra Hospital

An unannounced inspection to the Royal Alexandra Hospital was carried out on Tuesday 4 September 2012. NHSGGC received the Inspector’s report in October 2012 and was pleased that the report acknowledges the improvements we have made since their previous visit.

The report highlights a number of positive findings at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. In particular we were pleased that the inspectors noted ward staff and domestic staff had a positive relationship and there was good compliance with the uniform and dress code.

However, we recognise that there are still areas we need to address and an improvement plan has been developed to ensure that the requirements and recommendations made by the HEI team are implemented.
