Out of Hours South Glasgow - I have worked within the care sector for almost 30 years and have lost count of the amount of GPs, Consultants and so many other health care professionals I have met along the way. I can honestly say after having met Dr Charlene Kennedy who was on duty on 27/05/2017 for the OOH service in the south of Glasgow. I would first of all like to thank Dr Kennedy for going over and above in her attention, care, support, empathy and time of which she provided with the service user and family members alike. It was an absolute breath of fresh air and pleasure to have seen a young Dr whose time is precious to all who use the service go way beyond expectations of the role of her job. Dr Kennedy has really left a lasting impression with all of whom had the pleasure of her care and I will personally never forget the compassion shown. A total credit to the profession.
Vale of Leven District General Hospital - I had an exacerbation of my asthma and was sent over by the GP. I was seen quickly, checked over thoroughly, provided with treatment and reassured. Thank you. Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - My dad was recently admitted after a fall in his garage. He had broken his hip, and was operated on within a day of his accident. The speed and standard of care he received from all of the staff at the QEUH was absolutely outstanding. We are immensely grateful to all the staff. What a privilege to have such excellent response when in a vulnerable moment, you make that call for help.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary - I have recently had an operation and short in patient stay at GRI (Plastic Surgery Wards 45 and 49D) .The staff was at all times caring, compassionate and highly professional. They really went the 'extra mile' for their patients. They are a really great team of people who make you so proud of the NHS at its best. Victoria Hospital (New) - Margaret Smyth at Victoria minor injuries was very helpful after my 80 year old mum's fall. She took time to do thorough examination and explain to her about her injuries. She was friendly, efficient and very reassuring. She also explained what might happen in next few days. Well done great service.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - Ward 11B staff were amazing caring for my son after he was transferred from RAH. Everyone entered the room with a welcoming smile. The nursing staff spent time chatting to him and put him at ease, especially the Charge Nurse. He had never been in hospital before. The night staff who admitted him was great and special thanks to the auxiliary who gave him all the essentials a patient would need when admitted as an emergency. But mostly, thank you for making him better x
Royal Alexandra Hospital - I had a fall and broke my wrist and the service I received at the fracture clinic was excellent. I was admitted to have surgery on my wrist as the bones had moved and the treatment I received while in ward 23 was once again excellent. Everyone involved in my care from the domestics to health care assistants, nurses, doctors, consultants, all staff who work in the operating theatres are ALL a credit to your organisation. The NHS gets a hard time but I can safely say my treatment has been second to none. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for the excellent care and respect I received while in your hospital.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - Was rushed into hospital on 19th May. I can't thank the prompt treatment from A&E to discharge. All the staff from porters to consultants. The staff in ward 9b looked after me. I am proud of the NHS I am a SCN myself and being a patient certainly feels so different. I can't thank everyone enough.
Royal Alexandra Hospital - Surgery to remove ovarian cyst and ovary. All NHS staff I encountered was absolutely outstanding! Royal Alexandra staff is so professional, efficient and caring!
Glasgow Royal Infirmary - Attended my appointment at 1600 pm 25.5.17. Taken on time, staff was excellent and all the required information was imparted to me in plain language by the doctor and nurse carrying out the procedure. Procedure carried out without problem. All round excellent, couldn't praise them more.
Royal Alexandra Hospital - I had to stay in the maternity unit for 29 days leading up to and including the birth of my son. I cannot fault the staff at all. Everyone, from doctors, midwives, catering, auxiliaries, domestics, absolutely everyone made me feel welcome and nothing was too much bother for them. I had to spend a long time away from my young family and it was an emotionally difficult time for me, and after my son was born he spent quite a bit of time in NICU. I don't think I could have gotten through this difficult time without the emotional and physical support of the amazing staff team up there. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - I attended with my 2 year old child at the children's A&E department in May 2017. I was able to park easily and was triaged quickly and immediately, my son was seen by a surgeon and taken for surgery. The staff were all kind and helpful. The surgeon was wonderful at explaining everything that would happen. The hospital was a wonderful facility and I felt that we are very lucky to have such a place to help our children and with such wonderful health professionals.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - Ward 57 - Stroke Rehab, I would just like to say a massive thanks to all staff, my relative is still a patient in your ward - still a fair way to go. The ward goes all out to create a very positive approach for patients, great work from a wonderful team, well done x
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - Just to say, I reported problems, with my powered-wheelchair, on 22 May 2017. Within 4 hours of my phone call, I was back on the road again! The chair is obviously crucial to me getting around, and I just want to praise the service, and all the staff there, but particularly, all the guys, out on the road, who periodically, fix my problems. They are first class! I am most grateful to all of you. Brilliant service!
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - The two male triage nurses who looked after my elderly mum on Sat at QEUH were outstanding. My mum has dementia and they got her a bed straight away, thanks guys it made our experience memorable :)
Glasgow Royal Infirmary - From the moment I entered Glasgow Royal Infirmary I can do nothing but praise staff, doctors and consultants for their professional conduct throughout the night that I arrived. Most of all though the caring actions and instructions that were enacted upon myself by these teams that led quickly to recognise, identifying various ailments that had befell me. To then target further ailments that could only be assessed further by the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow to which collation of information and timings between hospitals has led to speedy recognitions and prompt counter measures in minimising further deterioration. Diagnosis implementation of care was as I see put in place to remedy issues that I had been afflicted with. Total care and respect was shown to which I am truly grateful, friendly chat, making me feel good confident (apart from the needles). Consultant’s senior doctors were also outstanding and approachable. I could go on and on but will stop there and thank sincerely Glasgow Royal and Queen Elizabeth staff from the domestics to the ambulance crew, day and night staff for their hospitality professionalism candour, most of all their care and commitment to patient care throughout my ordeal, under what are sometimes difficult conditions.
Royal Hospital for Children - I would like to praise all of your staff, nursing, doctors and scan staff. My son has just been discharged after emergency admission for appendicitis. From arrival at A&E to leaving he was looked after with a brilliant level of care and compassion. The information available was good and the ability to stay in the hospital helped massively. I would like my praise passed on if possible, ward 2C.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - the hospital and staff could not be better everyone seems to be motivated and willing to help it is a great hospital the design and colour scheme.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary - Thank you so much to everyone and each department that has worked together to help my son, for the care he is receiving and for allowing us to visit as and when due to us working shifts. I have been kept up to date with the entire goings on, the relief we feel cannot be put into works. Many thanks.
Stobhill Hospital (New) - I wish to express my thanks to the whole team at the day surgery dept. Yesterday 15.05.17 when my son who has Autism required surgery for a tooth extraction. Everyone was so supportive of us both, friendly, helpful and kind. From the admin staff when we arrived to the wonderful nurses and assistants, anaesthetist, dentist and cleaners. Lovely hospital, clean and welcoming. Thank you all again for making a stressful situation less so for both of us.
Inverclyde Royal Hospital - I was taken to A&E by ambulance the other night and was surprised to find all staff were awesome. Everything was quick and communication was excellent. Was taken up to H North during the night and was welcomed and put at ease straight away. Everyone has been so helpful during my 2 nights stay and I was relaxed even though terrified. Needles were my biggest fear but I got used to them and staff were just fantastic. Including the university staff. Overall extremely happy and a massive thank you to all staff in both departments! Thank you.
Royal Alexandra Hospital - My 90 year old mother was admitted to the RAH on Wednesday 19th May, initially to the receiving ward, then to ward 24 and finally to ward 26. She was transferred to another hospital on Saturday 6th May. Our family wish to convey our heartfelt appreciation for the level of care and attention given to our mother during her time in the hospital. She was treated with dignity, kindness and professionalism throughout. We wish to commend all the staff who were involved in her care. Well done NHS staff.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - I cannot thank enough to the palliative care team and all the staff in ward 8C for the amazing care which has been given to my relative during this difficult time. Such care and kindness throughout the duration of the care.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - Absolutely great care from all staff in acute receiving 5, making a horrible experience bearable. Thanks to everyone, from surgeons to auxiliary staff, but particularly the nurses. They do a fantastic job!
Royal Hospital for Children - My daughter has been treated for Burkitt's Lymphoma in ward 2a since January. I would like to commend the doctors, nurses, auxiliaries, play staff, pain team, dieticians, teaching staff and cleaners who work so hard to make the ward a friendly, safe environment for sick children, supporting both the children and their families. I expected excellent care for my daughter but I did not expect the level of emotional and practical support my husband and I received. I would particularly like to commend Dr Mark Rafferty and Staff Nurses Ruth Bowman and Nicola Pirie whose dedication and professionalism was outstanding. I would lastly like to highlight the excellent contribution made by the student nurses from Caledonian University - Katie, Hannah and Arianna who were on placement in February - April of this year. The staff made a frightening and heart-breaking experience that could easily have fractured our family into a journey that our daughter not only talks about with pride but one that she has no regrets over. I think it truly remarkable that an eight year old can come through such an experience and see it as a positive one in spite of all that has happened to her. I feel that the staff played a crucial part in developing her mindset.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary - The most helpful and nicest staff I have ever met in my entire life. Not only did they see to me in quick time, but when it emerged that I would have to stay the night, despite many crying protests from me, they were extremely lovely and helpful. They should be extremely proud of all of the nurses and staff working at the
Royal! Stobhill Hospital (New) - Excellent support communication to reassure my 93 year old mother. CT completed. Andy radiographer and Margaret CSW on duty 11th May, caring and compassionate. Well done great service. Suggestion: I used an online CT 2 minute video to prepare my mum for CT, worked very well, less anxious knew what to expect on the day, a URL link on advice book may be very helpful.
Princess Royal Maternity - Had our first baby at PRM - all the staff were amazing, looking after me during induction, labour and c-section, plus myself and our baby boy in post recovery.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - I would just like to thank all of the staff of ward 6a for the treatment given to my grandfather before his passing. The care given to him and the compassion shown to our family was outstanding. Nothing was a bother for any of the staff and they always went above and beyond. In particular, Staff nurse Ross Fleming and domestic Samantha Joyce are an absolute credit to our NHS! Many thanks again to a great team.

Stobhill Hospital (New) - I attended for a colonoscopy under sedation at the endoscopy department this morning 9th May. I was very nervous when I arrived but due to the professionalism patience and good humour of the staff I relaxed very quickly. Nothing was too much bother to these angels and I am so grateful. They are a credit to their profession. Please pass on my thanks.
Royal Hospital for Children - The staff who worked with my son when arrived for surgery, especially the anaesthetics doc and his surgeon Dr Catalina Fleur (unsure of spelling) was fantastic with my 7 year old son, we don’t mind being identified as would like surgeon to know she was great with him and he is already sleeping better since the surgery on the 5/5/17.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - I would like to record my sincere thanks for the wonderful treatment and care that my wife received when she was in the Critical Coronary Unit, from 28th April to 3rd May. All the staff on duty were extremely helpful and kept me fully updated on my wife’s condition at all time. My wife’s dedicated nurses Ann, Erin, Angela, Louise, Susan and Kevin were brilliant, and I could not have asked for any better care. While the NHS comes in for criticism at times, I have nothing but praise for the great service and care my wife received.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow - I would like to say a huge thank you to every single member of staff in ward 49. I have ever just been discharged from a two night stay after surgery. What a credit you all are to your workplace. A happy ward with caring and attentive staff.
Victoria Hospital (New) - I visited the hospital yesterday and was provided with superb service in clinic C whose staff were friendly with an excellent bedside manner. Nothing was too much trouble even down to the staff member in clinic A who could see I was struggling to walk and went and got me a wheelchair then pulled me down to clinic C, despite it being nothing to do with her. If all hospital experiences were like this the world would be a better place. Please pass my thoughts to all the staff in clinic C and in general.
Royal Alexandra Hospital - I had a successful operation today thanks to Dr Robertson and his team, but I would like to praise the nurse's on ward 29 early and late shift , their aftercare was brilliant, couldn’t do enough, cleaned me up cleaned up after me and showed sympathy, they are all a credit to your hospital.
