Child and Adolescent Mental Health - Direct Access Service Tel: 0141 277 7545
The service provides early therapeutic intervention for young people with mild to moderate mental health problems using brief focussed approaches. The team work directly on a one to one basis in a setting where the young person feels comfortable. The also works indirectly offering consultation, advice, training and support to other services. This service works with young people age 12-17 years who are having problems in the way they are thinking, feeling or behaving. Anyone working with a young person (including teachers, school nurses and youth workers) can refer.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health - Learning Disability service Tel: 0141 277 7515
The Learning Disability CAMH service is a multi-disciplinary community-based service working directly with young people, their families or carers or in consultation with other agencies involved with a young person. The team provides assessment, therapeutic work and interventions to young people, and management advice to parents and other carers.

Referrals are usually received from GP’s, Health Visitors, Hospital and Community Paediatricians, School Health Service, Social workers, Educational psychologists, teaching staff, child and adolescent mental health staff and specialist medical services.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health - Looked After and Accomodated Children Tel: 0141 531 3301
This service provides an early intervention service comprising of routine psychological assessment of children who have become accommodated, and consultation and clinical services for those who require a mental health assessment or intervention. The service works with children and young people who are accommodated by their local authority and with those caring or working with accommodated children and young people. Referrals are accepted from Social Workers, Education Psychologists, GP’s, Community Child Health Services and other specialist medical services.
