The community out-patient teams provide assessments and treatment plans for children and their families. Advice and consultation is offered to services within health and to other professional agencies working with children and their families. The child Community Teams work with children up to the age of 12 with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural problems. The Adolescent Community Teams work with young people age between 12 and 18 years who are in need of professional assistance due to a mental health problem. Referral Information Children & young people, and their families can be referred by a range of health professionals, Social Workers, Educational Psychologists and School Nurses.
