More Information
The service supports people who are experiencing housing problems related to their alcohol issues. This service is for all individuals living within the east end of Glasgow whose drinking is having a negative effect on their ability to keep and maintain their tenancy, or is affecting their chances of securing their own tenancy. The CASS team support clients to
  • keep and sustain their tenancy
  • provide advice, information and support around alcohol related issues
  • assist in completing benefit and housing forms
  • assist with budgeting and debt management
  • assist with dealing with neighbourhood disputes
  • relapse prevention
There is no charge to service users or any other referrer.

We understand how hard it can be to stop or even cut down on drinking. We do ask that during any support sessions the user be clear headed to gain the best they can from the session. All we ask is that service users cut their alcohol intake down on this day if possible.

Most support work will take place in your home or we will help you to meet with other agencies at their premises if necessary. If you wish to be seen outwith your home arrangements can be made to see you at our office during drop-in sessions. Drop-ins are held on Mondays between 10am and 12pm at CASS, Bridgeton, and on Wednesdays between 10am and 12pm at Shettleston Housing Association, 65 Pettigrew Street, Glasgow G32 7XR.

Contact us and we will arrange an initial contact to register you with our service.
