What? Why? Videos for Parents and Children

When a child needs to have a procedure in hospital this can be a very stressful and scary time for them. As a parent you worry about what is wrong with your child and if your child is going to be ok. Understanding what hospital procedures do and explaining them to your child is not easy. Your child might feel anxious when the nurse needs to use a needle to take a blood sample. You might worry when your child is asked to go into an MRI machine or have a general anaesthetic. The WWCIH charity makes video clips suitable for children to help children and parents prepare for hospital and answer some of their questions starting with What? and Why?
