You can still access the consultation documentation for historical reference, but no further comments wil be accepted.

Introduction

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Sandyford Service provides a wide range of reproductive health (family planning), sexual health (genitourinary medicine) and emotional health services. These include contraceptive advice and provision, counselling, library and information services, and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections including HIV.

Sandyford has been working with Renfrewshire Community Health Partnership to expand and improve community based services in Renfrewshire. The proposals have been developed through discussions with people who use existing services, staff and organisations. A similar review in Greater Glasgow, Inverclyde and East Renfrewshire, led to major improvements in community-based sexual and reproductive health services and better access for women, men and young people.
