Clyde Mental Health

Clyde Mental Health

This consultation was launched on 9th April and ended on 2nd July 2008.

The Board at its meeting on 19 August 2008, deferred a decision on mental health services at the Vale of Leven Hospital and to take forward further work to see how these services may link to other services on the hospital site. Proposals for mental health services in South Clyde were ratified. These plans see the development and improvement of mental health services across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde to increase the range of services, improve mental health accommodation and facilities and provide a number of additional new services, not previously available.

The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing formally approved the mental health proposals for the South Clyde area on 2nd Feb 2009.
