Vale of Leven District General Hospital
The Vale of Leven Hospital serves a population of approximately 78,000 within the constituency of Dumbartonshire and is only about 30 minutes from Glasgow. The hospital provides a range of services including inpatient beds, general medicine, women’s health, orthopaedics; maternity services and a Minor Injuries Unit.
The 'Vision for the Vale', NHSGGC's proposals for the future development of the Vale of Leven Hospital were approved by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing on 16th July 2009.
