NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde are committed to high-quality research and the development of staff and research capability in mental and sexual health. To reflect this, the Board are inviting clinical staff to apply for funding to support research projects.
A total of £300k is available for mental and sexual health research with direct relevance to the NHS. It is anticipated that awards will be in the region of £40,000 – £60,000, with exceptional applications receiving up to £100,000. In addition, there is an opportunity to fund smaller research projects within NHS priority areas and 'pump-priming' projects such as protocol development groups and pilot studies that may lead to successful grant applications to eligible funding bodies.
We encourage applications from all clinicians supporting mental and sexual health across the Board and to funding innovative and relevant research projects. Collaborative projects involving university researchers and other stakeholders are especially welcome.
