Since 1948, the NHS has touched the lives of literally every single
person in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Millions upon millions of people have been cared for by our dedicated
doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
Despite all the staggering statistics and impressive technology,
the NHS is the public service that comes to the aid of people in
the most intense, personal circumstances. For every person helped
by the NHS, employed by it, or its many volunteers, there is a story.
