Your Research

When you apply to conduct a research project through the Safe Haven (see Application section), your project will be processed by the Safe Haven team through an appropriate pre-defined pathway. Below is an overview of how projects are processed;

No matter how big or small your research, or what type of funding you have, we will always give the same consideration and attention to your project. There are many things to consider when conducting data research and the process can sometimes seem overwhelming if you have not been through it before. Here, we have tried to gather as much information as possible together in order to help you make informed choices about what is available and what to apply for.

What You Need To Do:

  • Use this website to decide which datasets you require access to
  • Decide which data items you need in order to fulfill your research (more info will be available on this soon)
  • Obtain any permissions needed (for example, if including new datasets)
  • Fill in the appropriate application form(s)
  • Attach any relevant documentation to your application
  • Email your application to a member of the Safe Haven team

Contact a member of the Safe Haven team at any time if you are unsure about any aspect of applying for access to our data resources.
