Andrew Robertson, Chairman of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has buried a timecapsule of memories surrounding the Victoria Infirmary on the site of the new hospital.
Mr Robertson was joined by pupils from Battlefield Primary School, Pat Jamieson from Langside College, who arranged some of the contributions to the timecapsule, and Mr Alasdair Fernie, Senior Project Manager for the new hospital, for builders Balfour Beatty.
The Victoria Hospital timecapsule holds more than 170 items including pictures, personal stories, a history of its proud past, and a CD of a broadcast by the Victoria Infirmary Hospital Radio.
A long list of stars have been interviewed by the station since it first hit the airwaves in September 1995, including actor Gerard Kelly, comedian Andy Cameron and "Only An Excuse" star Jonathan Watson.
