General outpatient clinics are located on two floors of the hospital – Level 1 and Level 2. Each clinic is identified by a single letter – from A to L and has its own reception and waiting area.   Your appointment letter will indicate which particular clinic you should attend. 

Wherever possible, outpatient clinics will offer a ‘one-stop’ service where a number of appointments will be scheduled on the same day.

As a result many patients will leave the clinic with tests complete, results explained, and a clear outcome of the visit. For others it will be a stay of a few hours instead of admission to hospital or for separate visits to be seen at a clinic.

Opening hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, although some clinics will be running evening clinics and will operate until 8pm.
